April Event - Paul Lake and Ian Brightwell

Paul Lake and Ian Brightwell shared their memories of the 5-1 victory over United. Both the heroes were happy to share their memories and thoughts about the future. The time literally flew by.

Paul also told the harrowing story of his injury - quite staggering how incompetently the club and its medical advisers dealt with this. Thankfully, how different from the way things are today, and it hasn't diminished Paul's love of Manchester City.

The event raised funds to buy an electric wheelchair for Charlotte, see http://www.justgiving.com/wheelchair4charlotte for more details.

Ian Brightwell takes on the assault course at challenge4change.

"Thanks again for organising the Blues in Biz event at Challenge 4 Change. It was an excellent event in more ways than one. Not only have I managed to meet some valuable contacts, I also got the opportunity to have one to ones with 2 of my boyhood heroes. Paul Lake and Ian Brightwell were both amazingly open and frank and it was such a great opportunity to discuss the past, present and future City with them. It’s a shame that more members weren’t there as they have definitely missed out! "
